The name Rapitalà derives from Arabic (Rabidh-Allah, meaning “river of Allah”, the stream that runs through the vineyards) and bears witness to the fact that these lands have been cultivated since ancient times. Over the course of the centuries, generations of farmers have shaped the form and identity of the estate as it stands today.
The Tenuta Rapitalà covers 225 hectares in the territory that descends from Camporeale towards Alcamo across gentle slopes at an altitude of 300 to 600 metres where the earth mixes sand and clay.
This soil combined with a perfect position offer the ideal environment for the cultivation of the most prestigious varieties.
