Masi history is the history of a family and its vineyards in Verona, in Veneto.
The name come out “Vivaio dei Masi”, the small valley bought at the end of 18th century from Boscaini Family, which is still the owner. The farm has enlarged with subsequent acquisitions in the best production areas of Venezie. Among others, Masi manages the most historical Valpolicella’s vineyard, those of Conti Serego Alighieri, wich from 1353 belongs to Dante’s descendent.
Masi specialization is characterized by wines from Venezie,that reflect the character and the style and are produced using autochthonous grapes. The company is leader in traditional wines production, such as Amarone, Recioto, using withering technique, and was able to become known all over the world producing 7 kinds of them (5 from singular vineyards).
