Cantine del Notaio was one of the first wineries in Basilicata (Southern Italy) to really dedicate themselves to producing high quality interpretations of the indigenous Aglianico grape.
Inherited by Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti from his grandfather of the same name, today the 30 hectares of Cantine del Notaio vineyards are certified biodynamic and all but one of the ten wines bottled by Cantine del Notaio (including white & sparkling wines) involve the Aglianico grape in some way.
