Faithful to the immortal fame of the legend from which it draws its inspiration, it is the company’s tribute to two vines of age-old French tradition, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The harmonious weave of red fruits from the forest floor and aromatic spices bring to the palate a pleasant mosaic of sensations difficult to overlook. Baglio Sorìa, known for the constant water stress to which the plants are subjected, is a terroir that offers the best expression of the extraordinary sensory properties possessed by these two varieties, giving wine lovers a well-balanced, soft triumph of a wine that boasts unrivalled elegance and souplesse. The calcareous and clayey nature of the soil, humid in the area where Cabernet Sauvignon is planted, is the reason behind the slow ripening of the small grapes from which a reduced amount of pyrazine is extracted. With its mouthfilling flavour and passionate ruby red colour, just one sip takes you back to savour the nostalgic courtly love of medieval times.

Interesting facts
Its renowned flavour carries the souls of wine lovers back to age-old memories of the court of King Arthur and the knights that met around the Round Table at Camelot to discuss matters of crucial importance for the realm.
Camelot is a place of heroic bravery, of fearless dedication to values of loyalty and devotion to the world of chivalry, of the noble and illicit love between Lancelot and Guinevere, an emblem of medieval courtly love. Its location, albeit legendary, remains unknown, as unknown as the paths along which the mind is led by the contemplative strength of the wine, in a vortex of different perceptions. This can only be attested by a verse from Dante: “Amor, ch’a nullo amato amar perdona, mi prese del costui piacer sì forte, che, come vedi, ancor non m’abbandona” (Love, that exempts no one beloved from loving, seized me so strongly with delight in him, that, as you see, it does not leave me).
