Talò, a surname, to collectively thank the farmers of San Marzano who, with their families, look after each vineyard as if it were their own garden. Talò, a collection of different varieties; a symbol of a community.
Talò Nero di Troia Puglia IGP is a red wine made from Uva di Troia, also known as Nero di Troia, a Puglian grape variety known for producing elegant wines with a refined taste and smell. A nice smoothness balances out the strong tannins, making the wine balanced on the palate and suitable for pairing with dishes of a certain structure.
Intense and vivid ruby red colour; an elegant bouquet of violets, cherries and blackberries, spicy notes of coriander, black pepper and liquorice. Toasted aromas of tobacco and cocoa enhance a complex olfactory profile.
A firm but elegant tannin refines its structure; an intriguing acidity makes it fresh and with a good ageing potential.
Rich dishes like lasagna, pasta with ragout sauce, fresh hand-made pasta with full-flavoured sauces. Ideal to pair also with red meat dishes like stewed and braised veal, grilled steaks. Medium-aged cheese is also a must have with it.
